400 Followers....Wow

This morning I woke up to a message from Kim at Finding Joy in 6th (please head over and check out her blog....it was one of the first I followed and it really is an inspiration) telling me that I had hit 400 followers.  I really can not believe it.  When I set out on this blogging journey over winter break, who would have thought that by Spring Break (ok...I am still a few weeks away from that....not like some other people *cough cough Mor cough cough*) I would have 400 people sign up to read about what happens in my classroom.

To celebrate, I am going to give away some items from my TpT Store!  5 lucky people (whom I will draw with a random number generator), will get to choose one item of their choice from my store.  ONE LUCKY WINNER WILL GET ALL OF THE 6 PRODUCTS BELOW!!  (I only have 6 paid products, so that is my whole store!)

Here are the things you have to choose from:
Surface Area, Volume and Ordered Pairs

Root Word Memory

Native American Research Report
Calendar Math Bulletin Board Templates

HW Passes for ALL occasions

Reading Log Pack

And since this is a celebration of my blog followers, all you have to do it be a follower of my blog.  That is it.

So leave me a message, telling me that you are a follower (and if you would like to let me know what types of things you enjoy reading about I would be grateful :) ) and you will be entered.  I will draw the names Sunday night at around 8pm PST.

    1. I'm replying to my own post to say that I ventured into your classroom website (I saw it on one of your Vista Print pictures. As you can tell by the time stamp, I have been on it for almost 2 hours (I think I took a snack break)! It is awesome. I love seeing all you do. Seeing that you are in LAUSD, I know you have a lot of mandates that you must implement, but you also have such life and learning and creativity happening. I am also in So Cal and strive to teach so that my 6th graders are successful and have a fun, momorable year with me. I will be coming back again to refresh my memory once it is time for a new batch of kiddos!! Thanks

I love your posts about test prep ideas. It is something we at my school focus on so much and it can be so boring for the kids. I am taking your center ideas and trying them in my room next week (once my computers are fixed!).

I also enjoy all your ideas and how you think out of the box!

p.s. My colleague and I are working on some 100th anniversary of the Titanic. I will e-mail you details when we complete them. Right now it looks like we are tying it in with the literacy cafe via "nonfiction" elements and writer's workshop with a research unit!
